What we collect
When you request a certificate of insurance, we collect what you give us: your business name, your name, phone number, email (if you provide it), trade, current insurance status, and your certificate holder's details. We also receive basic technical information like your IP address for spam prevention.
How we use it
One purpose: getting your certificate handled. A licensed agent uses your details to issue your COI, contact you about it, and — if you ask — quote your business insurance. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with marketers.
Who sees it
Your information goes to the licensed agents fulfilling your request and, where needed, to your insurance carrier to issue the certificate. Certificate holder details appear on the certificate itself, which is the point.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, an agent may text you about your certificate request. No marketing blasts, no robocalls. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.
Data retention
We keep request records as long as needed to service your certificate and meet insurance record-keeping requirements, then they're removed on request where the law allows.
Your rights
Ask us what we have, correct it, or ask us to delete it — contact us through the request form and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above. The version posted here is the one that applies.
