What this site does
ineedacoi.com takes your certificate of insurance request and routes it to a licensed insurance agent, who issues the certificate through your insurance carrier. Submitting the form is a request for service — not a policy application, and not a guarantee of coverage or issuance timing.
What we don't do
- We don't issue certificates ourselves — licensed agents do, through your carrier.
- We don't guarantee same-day issuance. It's typical, not promised; your carrier and policy status control the timeline.
- We don't create coverage. A certificate reflects the policy you have — nothing more.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information. Your business details and certificate holder information go on an official insurance document — errors can delay issuance or misrepresent your coverage.
No insurance advice
Anything on this site explaining certificates, holders, or additional insureds is general information, not advice about your specific situation. Talk to your agent about what your contracts actually require.
Acceptable use
Don't submit false requests, don't scrape the site, and don't use it to spam. We may block misuse.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for delays by your carrier, for coverage decisions, or for losses tied to the timing of a certificate. Our job is routing your request to a licensed agent promptly.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version posted here applies. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
